AFYEEV Battery Charging Units 32A-DAPINGCD-6M-001 Editorial Review
The AFYEEV EV Charger Type 2 to 3 Pin Commando Plug has garnered a mix of reviews from customers, with experiences ranging from dissatisfaction to moderate satisfaction. The adjustable current settings (6/8/10/13/16/32A) are a highlight for many, with users appreciating the flexibility to control charging rates based on their specific needs and the operational efficiency of the unit for different amperage levels. However, concerns have been raised about the reliability and user-friendliness of the product. Several users reported issues with the charger's performance, stating that the unit often disconnects during charging, rendering it unreliable. Complaints about unclear instructions regarding setup, particularly for the delay timer, further detract from the product's appeal. There are mentions that the Bluetooth feature is not functioning for some, which adds to the frustration. Despite these negatives, some customers did express satisfaction, emphasizing the charger’s effectiveness when it functions correctly and the advantage of being a portable alternative to a wallbox charger. The ability to manage charging settings via the Smart Life app, even without Wi-Fi, is noted as a significant feature. Users also pointed out the absence of heating during operation, which is a favorable aspect. Overall, while the AFYEEV EV Charger offers useful features and functionality, its reliability issues and subpar user experience with setup instructions and connectivity hinder its overall reception. ###
