Sonos Portable Bluetooth Speakers S27 Editorial Review
The Sonos Roam 2 is a versatile and compact portable speaker that has garnered a mixed but generally positive reception among customers. It stands out for its impressive sound quality relative to its small size, offering clear treble and mid-range tones alongside strong but not overpowering bass. Many users appreciate its integration within the Sonos ecosystem, allowing for easy pairing with existing Sonos devices. Setting up the Roam 2 is largely straightforward, particularly for those familiar with the Sonos app. Users highlighted its user-friendly process; however, some experienced challenges when attempting to integrate Alexa on Android devices, necessitating workarounds that frustrated a few customers. Conversely, setup tends to be seamless for iPhone users, streamlining the Alexa integration process. While satisfaction with audio performance is prevalent, there are criticisms regarding the speaker’s connectivity options. A number of customers expressed disappointment over the Sonos app’s functionality, especially concerning Alexa and Google Assistant integration, noting persistent issues that have not yet been resolved. Additionally, the absence of a wall plug for charging was noted, with some users suggesting it limits convenience when setting up the speaker. Despite these drawbacks, users still find the Roam 2 to deliver tremendous value, especially for those seeking a portable solution with smart capabilities. Its design and lightweight nature make it ideal for travel and casual use, with many customers enjoying its performance in various settings like showers and outdoor activities. **
