Sennheiser Profile USB Microphone with Table Stand - Plug & Play Design, Perfect for Podcasting & Streaming, Cardioid Condenser Capsule, 1.2m USB-C Cable - Black 700065
The Sennheiser Profile USB Microphone with Table Stand provides a mixed experience for users. While some customers praise the quality and reliability of Sennheiser products, others have encountered issues with white noise when using in-ear monitors (IEMs) with the microphone. This white noise problem, especially in low volume situations, has led some users to return the product, advising those who use IEMs to seek alternative microphone options. On the positive side, users have found the microphone to be excellent for tasks such as recording home videos, Zoom calls, and live streaming. The microphone is noted for its ability to isolate the user's voice, delivering clear audio recordings even in environments with background noise. Additionally, the plug-and-play design, with accessible buttons for gain, mute, and source control, has been praised for its ease of use. However, some customers have expressed disappointment in receiving only the microphone without the specified desk arm, indicating a discrepancy in product delivery. Furthermore, while the sound quality is commended, some users have noted that the microphone's gain dial needs to be set to 100% for adequate volume, and the limited mobility of the included boom arm may be a drawback for those seeking more adjustable positioning. Overall, the Sennheiser Profile USB Microphone offers good sound quality, easy set-up, and effective noise isolation for recording purposes. However, potential buyers should Consider compatibility with their preferred headphones and their need for adjustable microphone positioning before making a purchase. **
