Questions et réponses des clients

  • question: What Deet rating are these?

répondre: Packaging just says concentrated dry deet. I can honestly say they are brilliant. We have used them all around Caribbean and south America. We had people asking about them recently in mexico where a huge amount of people were getting bitten.
  • question: Do you have to wear on ankles too? But difficult with hiking boots on

répondre: No. The bands are designed to protect areas of exposed skin. They are ideal for wrists and ankles, but if you have hiking boots on you will probably be fine without them, especially if you can tuck socks into the bottom of trousers to keep all exposed skin covered. If you are not wearing long trousers, make sure to apply repellent down to your ankles before you put the boots on.
  • question: Are the bands made of silicone or latex?

    répondre: Impregnated fabric band
  • question: Can they be worn when swimming and are they still effective afterwards

répondre: Yes. I wear mine all day and all night in the pool or sea and replace it every 4 day
  • question: Are these bands adjustable for smaller/larger wrists?

répondre: Yes very easily adjustable. Fitted my grandsons and my husband.
  • question: Has it got deet in it?

répondre: Yes - the bands are impregnated with a mix of DEET and Citriodiol which is released slowly as the bands are worn.
  • question: Can you wear them swimming

répondre: Pyramid Trek 50 Insect/Mosquito Repellent Deet Spray and Bug Repellent Bands are proven to be fully waterproof so you can wear them to the beach or pool side and go swimming .
  • question: How long are these bands, I want them for my ankles?

répondre: hi, just measured them for you.. they are 24.5cm long (that including the little clip), they will stretch little as are elasticated, there is 4 in a pack, unfortunately I can't comment how good they are as did not used yet. Hope this helps.Good luck

PYRAMID Wristbands SI110 Editorial Review

The Pyramid Mosquito Repellent Bracelet has garnered a generally positive reception among customers who have tested its effectiveness in various mosquito-prone environments. Many users highlight the product’s ability to significantly reduce mosquito bites, especially during travels in regions with high insect activity, such as India, Egypt, and the Peruvian jungle. The incorporation of DEET as the active ingredient reinforces the bracelet's perceived potency, with multiple customers reporting it performing well even in challenging conditions. Several reviews commend the ease of use, noting that the adjustable design allows the bracelet to be worn comfortably on the wrist or ankle. Users express satisfaction, particularly in their ability to enjoy outdoor activities without the worry of insect bites. Some customers have mentioned that this product has become a travel essential, with reorders indicating a degree of Consumer loyalty. However, there are notable limitations, especially regarding the fit for individuals with larger wrists. Certain users found that during hotter climates, the band could become uncomfortable and less effective. Additionally, there are mixed reviews, with some customers experiencing bites even while wearing the bracelet, indicating that while it works well for many, it may not be universally effective for everyone. In conclusion, the Pyramid Mosquito Repellent Bracelet is a highly regarded product for many travelers seeking a practical solution to ward off mosquitoes. Its combination of comfort, ease of use, and effectiveness makes it an attractive option, though potential users should Consider their individual needs, especially regarding size and personal sensitivity to insect bites. **
