Fyodor Mihayloviç Dostoyevski Editorial Review
In the collection of reviews surrounding the book "Landlord," many readers reflect on their experiences with the text and their perceptions of Dostoyevski's storytelling. While some enthusiasts of Hasan Ali Yücel classics express a notable fondness for the work, their feel as a whole appears somewhat mixed. Readers appreciate the book's insights, with many highlighting that while it deviates from Dostoyevski's more familar narratives, they find value in its storytelling. However, a recurring sentiment suggests dissatisfaction with the abrupt ending of the titular story. This has led to some disappointment, as readers expected a more fulfilling conclusion based on previous experiences with the author. There is also acknowledgement of the book’s physical condition when compared to other titles from the same publisher, with some noting signs of wear that detracted from their initial reception. Despite this concern, readers are generally inclined to retain the book. Most notably, the humor found in the "Nine Letters of the Novel" segment received praise, contrasting with the views on the other stories which some critics described as lacking. Overall, readers maintain a sense of intrigue for Dostoyevski's work while grappling with their varied expectations and experiences with this particular collection. **
