Hangar 9 Doodle & Scribbler Boards HANU866 Editorial Review
The Hangar 9 UltraCote True Red HANU866 Airplane Covering is a popular choice among RC airplane enthusiasts. Users have successfully used it on various foam airplanes, including Eflite Timber and Eflite Apprentice, by applying it with an iron set between 225 to 250 degrees. However, users have reported unsuccessful attempts when applying it to foam board, as the heat required for adhesion causes the foam to melt. On the other hand, some users have been able to use a cold method with adhesive spray but cautioned about protecting it from excessive heat and sunlight to prevent warping. The product has received mixed reviews, as some customers encountered damage to the covering upon delivery, leading to inconvenience. Others found the product to be expensive and not worth the investment, while some praised its quality and ease of application. One long-time hobbyist noted that Ultracote film exceeded their expectations, particularly highlighting its ease of use and color accuracy compared to other brands they had used in the past. The Hangar 9 UltraCote True Red HANU866 Airplane Covering seems to be a reliable covering option for RC airplane enthusiasts, with users reporting a mix of positive and negative experiences.
