This will not only prolong their shelf life but also ensure that they perform effectively when needed. Users commonly avoid storing their kits in humid environments, which could affect the performance of the materials.

Can I paint over the repairs made with the West System 655-K?

Yes, you can paint over repairs made with the West System 655-K, provided that the surface is properly prepared. After the epoxy has fully cured, sand the repaired area lightly to create a suitable surface for paint adherence. Use marine-grade paint for the best results, as it will withstand the harsh conditions of water exposure. This capability allows boat owners to restore both function and aesthetics after a repair, helping to maintain the boat's overall appearance.

What precautions should be taken while using the West System 655-K?

While using the West System 655-K, it’s important to follow safety precautions to ensure a safe experience.
