Nutritionist's Take
High Build Friction Polish is primarily a woodworking and furniture finish product, rather than a nutritional item. As such, it is not intended for consumption and therefore lacks nutritional benefits relevant to human health. Nutritionists emphasize the importance of ingredient safety and quality in products that come into contact with food items or are used in food preparation items. While High Build Friction Polish may contain materials that enhance durability and appearance, potential drawbacks include the presence of strong solvents or chemicals that can pose health risks if ingested or inhaled. It is crucial for consumers to understand that this product is not suitable for any dietary needs and should be strictly used as directed for its intended purpose in woodworking. Overall, nutritionists would not consider this product a healthy choice for any dietary context.
Mylands Wood Polish 500ML Editorial Review
The High Build Friction Polish by Mylands is a popular choice for woodworkers and turners. It is not meant to seal wood but rather provides a high gloss shine. To achieve the best results, it is recommended to sand the wood thoroughly and use a sanding sealer before applying this polish. The polish leaves a glossy finish that is closer to gloss than semi-gloss. It works well on both wood and epoxy. However, it is not food safe. Overall, users have found this polish easy to use and have achieved excellent results with it. A few users have experienced streaking or a poor finish, but this can be attributed to the difficulty of the finish and user error.
