Nutritionist's Take
Complan Nutritious Vitamin Rich Drink is a powdered nutritional supplement marketed for its vitamin and mineral content, offering 7-8 servings per 425g pack. Nutritionists acknowledge its potential benefits for individuals needing a quick nutritional boost, such as children, the elderly, or those with increased dietary needs. It provides essential vitamins and minerals, primarily sourced from milk protein and various added nutrients, which can help in combatting deficiencies. However, some nutritionists express concerns over the inclusion of added sugars and artificial flavorings which may not align with whole food principles. Moreover, the product may not be suitable for those with lactose intolerance or those following a vegan diet. Overall, while it can be a convenient supplementary option, consumers should consider their individual dietary needs and prioritize whole foods for optimal health.
