STANLEY Block Planes 1-12-220 Editorial Review

STANLEY Hand Planer, Black/Red (12-220) is a versatile block plane designed for both beginners and seasoned woodworkers. Users have enjoyed its sharp blade right out of the box, and its performance on softwoods like pine has been commendable, offering a clean and smooth finish. While some noted that the plane may require a bit of tuning for optimal use, it's praised for its solid design and good construction, featuring a cast iron base which contributes to its durability. Over time, many found it to be a great value for money, especially for those coming from less efficient tools. However, a few users mentioned minor quality control issues, urging buyers to inspect their products carefully upon receipt.
