MagnaFlow Exhaust Products Mufflers 17143 Editorial Review
The Magnaflow 17143 Performance Exhaust Kit has garnered attention among Jeep enthusiasts seeking improved sound and performance. Customer feedback indicates a prevailing satisfaction with the sound quality, which ranges from a deep, mellow growl at idle to an aggressive tone at higher RPMs. Users appreciate the exhaust's ability to enhance the vehicle's sporty aesthetics by eliminating the bulky stock muffler, leading to a cleaner look. Many customers noted the functional benefits of reduced back pressure, potentially improving fuel efficiency, although some users felt compelled to drive harder to experience the new sound dynamics. Installation has been widely described as straightforward, with many customers completing the process in about an hour. However, a recurring issue among users involves the exhaust's fitment, particularly in relation to the vehicle's undercarriage, which can lead to rattling or clearance issues—especially for off-road use. Additionally, while the sound at idle is reported to be pleasing, a significant number of reviews pointed out a problematic drone at highway speeds, which might make long-distance driving uncomfortable for some. Overall, the Magnaflow exhaust offers a compelling upgrade for those desiring both a performance boost and a stylish sound, though potential buyers should be mindful of possible fitment challenges and the drone noise at cruising speeds. **
