Nutritionist's Take
BIOTONE Advanced Therapy Massage Lotion is designed to provide a smooth massage experience while being hypoallergenic and fragrance-free, making it suitable for sensitive skin types. Nutritionists generally appreciate its focus on ingredient quality, as it avoids potential irritants found in heavily scented products. The lotion is formulated to offer 'more glide and workability,' which can lead to better therapeutic outcomes during massage, thus promoting relaxation and potentially aiding in muscle recovery. However, consumers should be aware of its non-nutritive nature; it does not contribute to dietary needs or nutritional health. While the lotion is a good option for massage therapists and clients seeking a non-greasy finish, it may not cater to individuals with specific ingredient preferences or those looking for holistic, nutrient-rich skincare. Overall, this product is a practical choice for therapeutic massage but does not possess direct nutritional benefits.
BIOTONE Massage Lotions Editorial Review
The BIOTONE Advanced Therapy Massage Lotion is a hypoallergenic and fragrance-free lotion that provides excellent glide and workability. It absorbs quickly and leaves a non-greasy finish. Users have found that essential oils can be added to this lotion with great results. However, it may be necessary to use a separate bottle for each scent, as it can be difficult to completely remove the scent from the bottle and pump. Some users have experienced difficulty with the locking pump, but this can be easily resolved. Pumps are also available for purchase separately. The lotion does not tingle and does not have a strong fragrance. The bottle can be challenging to open in order to make the pump work. The shelf life of this lotion is approximately 6 months. It is not recommended for use on the face.
