DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
About This Item
Get ready to witness a thrilling, survival adventure with The Walking Dead: Season 1! Join police officer Rick Grimes as he wakes from a coma in an abandoned hospital and discovers the horrifying reality of a viral outbreak that has turned humans into zombies. In a world where the dead rule and the living fight for survival, Rick and his fellow survivors struggle to hold onto their humanity. But, can they survive each other amidst dire conditions and personal rivalries? The Walking Dead: Season 1 is an epic, apocalypse drama series from the acclaimed director of The Shawshank Redemption and produced by the makers of Aliens and The Terminator.
This series is arguably the biggest hit of the 2010 television season, revolutionizing the zombie subgenre by exploring the humanity and emotions beneath the rotted shells. With its intelligence and sensitivity, The Walking Dead elevates beyond the typical grindhouse take on zombies. Solid performances from Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey DeMunn, Michael Rooker, and Norman Reedus, and breathtaking suspense make each of the first season's six episodes compelling from start to finish for both horror fans and those who dislike the genre as a whole. This two-disc set of The Walking Dead's first season includes all six episodes, as well as a number of behind-the-scenes extras, including the show's conception and production, a talk with Robert Kirkman, a look at the makeup by KNB Studios, and the show's panel at the 2010 ComicCon. All the principal players on both sides of the camera discuss their vision for the show, its influences (George Romero, naturally), and the challenges of depicting the end of civilization on a budget. Experience the thrill of The Walking Dead with the complete series on DVD, including Walking Dead Series DVD, AMC Walking Dead Box Set, Walking Dead DVD Collection, The Walking Dead Complete Series, The Walking Dead DVD Box Set, Walking Dead Series Blu Ray, The Walking Dead AMC Series, Walking Dead Full Series, The Walking Dead Complete Box Set, Walking Dead Blu Ray Set, The Walking Dead TV Series DVD, Walking Dead AMC Season 1, Walking Dead Series Collection, The Walking Dead Seasons 1-6 DVD, Walking Dead TV Show Series, The Walking Dead Complete Collection, Walking Dead DVD Set, The Walking Dead Box Set, and Buy Walking Dead DVD.
