The SCARPA Women's CRUX-W shoes have received mixed reviews from customers. Some customers found that the shoes were too small across the toe box and had to return them. However, other customers were very satisfied with their purchase. One customer, who is a climber, found that the shoes were versatile and could be used for difficult approaches as well as climbing in the gym. They mentioned that the shoes edge well and were comfortable for all-day wear. They even climbed a route with these shoes when they couldn't find their climbing shoes and impressed their friends. Another customer praised the comfort and quality of the shoes. They found them to be perfect for hiking and standing around all day. They mentioned that the shoes were comfortable to wear to work and also mentioned the waterproof feature. The customer also appreciated the rubber at the front, which helped prevent wear and tear. Another customer mentioned that the shoes fit slightly looser than their previous Scarpa shoes but still found them to be great quality.
