Permatex 80037-12PK Valve Grinding Compound is a high-quality product that is a mixture of four different grit sizes- 120, 150, 180, and 220. The compound is made of Silicon Carbide and comes in a quantity of 12 tubes, each one containing 3 oz of compound. It goes from being coarse to fine as you use it, and you can thin it by adding a few drops of water. The compound is dark grey and can be used on valves and seats. It can also be used to sharpen knives and restore razor blades. However, it is not recommended for restoring cloudy polycarbonate headlight lenses with a drill buffer as it may cause irreparable damage.
