Equus 8256 2" Boost Gauge with Multi Color Back Light

The Equus 8256 2" Boost Gauge with Multi Color Back Light seems to have mixed reviews from customers. While some customers found it to be a good product, others experienced issues with its functionality. One customer mentioned that they tried using the AutoMeter Fuel Pressure Snubbers recommended by Equus to help with bouncing of the gauge, but it did not work as effectively as they had hoped. Another customer pointed out that the included 5 feet of vacuum tube was not sufficient to reach the center of their engine from the top of the steering column, so they had to purchase a longer tube separately. Unfortunately, there were also reports of a defective product. A customer mentioned that the gauge they purchased was not working and when they contacted the seller, they did not receive a response for a replacement. On the positive side, one customer mentioned that they had been using the gauge for a year without any issues. They also recommended not paying more for other brands, as this gauge worked fine for them with a pressure of 45 PSI. However, there was also a negative review from a customer who criticized the quality of the gauge. They mentioned that it was very light and the threaded locker could not be tightened without it stripping. They compared it to other gauges they had seen in the past and expressed disappointment, stating that it seemed more like a $20 gauge. Finally, one customer mentioned that although the boost gauge was of nice quality, they had to wait for a month to receive it for unknown reasons. Overall, the reception of the Equus 8256 2" Boost Gauge with Multi Color Back Light is varied. While it may work well for some customers, others experienced issues with its functionality and questioned its build quality.
