However, the manual range switching can be a drawback as it requires the user to know the value of the capacitor being measured. Nevertheless, the device is very accurate, even when checking new and old capacitors. It helped users troubleshoot air conditioners and thus, saved them a lot of money in air conditioning repairs. Overall, the Honeytek A6013L Capacitance Meter Capacitor Electronic Measuring Capacitance Tester is a good value for the money, although not appropriate for precision measurements in JPL or lab equipment.
