MilitaryOutdoorClothing Sleeping Bags Editorial Review
**** The previously issued US GI OD sleeping mats have garnered a mixture of positive and negative feedback from customers, revealing a broad spectrum of experiences among users. Generally viewed as battle-tested and reliable, these mats are celebrated for their insulating properties and the comfort they can provide during outdoor bivouacs. A significant number of reviewers appreciate the durability they bring, highlighting that they have undergone extensive use, making them a genuine choice for those in need of rugged camping gear without breaking the bank. Many customers also mention that the mats are not the lightest option available, but the trade-off for added comfort and longevity is often Considered worthwhile. The fixed ties on the pads are noted as a thoughtful design feature, preventing loss during outings. Despite the mostly positive sentiments, there are notable concerns regarding the condition of the mats upon arrival. Several reviews indicate disappointment with wear and damages such as holes and tears, which can detract from their usability. While some buyers were prepared for the reality of purchasing used equipment and found their items acceptable, others were dismayed by the extent of wear, leading to a feeling of wasted money. In summary, while the US GI OD sleeping mats provide reliable insulation and comfort for various outdoor activities, potential buyers should temper their expectations regarding condition and wear when purchasing a used product. **
