Faria Sending Units & Cables Editorial Review
**** The Gauge Senders Pitot is a highly regarded component among boat owners looking for reliable speedometer functionality. Many users report that the product works exceptionally well, with several confirming that their speedometer readings are within a mere 1 mph of more sophisticated devices, like the Humminbird Solex10. The product's fit is commended, with numerous reviews stating it matched perfectly or performed as an exact OEM replacement. Installation feedback varies, with some users finding it straightforward while others have noted challenges due to misalignments with existing mounting holes. While the inclusion of multiple mounting options is seen as a positive, the need to drill additional holes in the transom has garnered some criticism. Performance-wise, most users are satisfied with the accuracy of their readings at cruising speeds, but a few have raised concerns about the unit's effectiveness at lower speeds. Overall, the Gauge Senders Pitot is highly recommended for its quality and efficiency in restoring speedometer function, making it a popular choice for many boat owners. **
