The Mars Triple Wide Coat King for Horses is a highly recommended grooming tool that works wonders on horses and even on large dogs. It is useful for shedding out the majority of the heavy winter coat, removing old winter coats, and taking out a lot in the spring. It is also excellent for removing mats and for thick undercoats. The "Triple Wide" is designed to have a wider space between blades, which may not be as wide as one expects but is still helpful to use. The width between the blades is the most important feature of the Mars King Coat as it cuts the coat as well hence over brushing can thin and shorten the coat quite a bit. It is not cheap but worth it because of its great quality and it lasts forever.
