Product Details
- After 50+ years involvement in the martial arts, I have had many, many adventures. I have competed in every decade since the 1960s. I have been a regional, national and world karate champion during this time. I am considered to be one of the founders of American Karate. I have travelled across the world to teach and learn and hone my crafts, both karate and Filipino martial arts. I have been fortunate enough to rub elbows with some of the greatest martial artists in the 20th century. I have produced over 100 books and DVDs on karate and arnis. In the last half century, you might say I've been busy. And I've got a story for each adventure I've had. I've been asked many questions over the years about a vast number of subjects concerning the martial arts. I decided to compile them in a single book for your easy reference. I consider this book to be a true follow up to Super Dan - A Martial Arts Memoir. Sit down when you have some free time and a good cup of coffee and enjoy the read. Super Dan Anderson REVIEWS: This book is a true gem! A conversation with one of the few who not only walks the true path; he built big parts of It! This book offers insights that only someone like its author could gain. It'll be a proud addition to my library! -Phillip Starr - Author of Martial Mechanics, Authentic Iron Palm, and Developing JinI've known Dan Anderson since 1966, through his neophyte period, when he was a hungry new black belt, then as a champion among champions, and finally as a highly knowledgeable instructor with an extraordinary gift to teach. All of Professor Anderson's books contain the wealth of his experience earned with shed blood and broken bones. Conversations With Super Dan is another in a long line of information-rich texts by this incredible warrior scholar.Loren Christensen - Author of Solo Training, Deadly Force Encounters, Fighters Fact Book and many more
