It rotates very smoothly and has a large surface area making it easy to cut multiple pieces at once without leaving any cutting lines. Although there are only grid lines on this mat, it didn't pose a problem for users. The mat itself is self-healing and didn't show signs of wear despite heavy use. It's also solid across the bottom, which eliminates the wobble experienced with older models. The soft color helps users see ruler lines easily.
