ESEE Fixed-Blade Knives Editorial Review
The ESEE 3 HM is a great knife with a bushcraft handle and kydex sheath. It does not feature a 90-degree spine, but this is a simple fix for the owner. The handle is nicely shaped and provides good texture and grip even when wet. The blade is thick, sturdy, and easy to maintain. The leather sheath is of good quality and made in the USA. However, the plastic sheath is not as sharp out of the box and requires minor adjustments. The screws may need to be loosened for ease of access. It is a bit heavy, making it harder to maneuver, but the handle's thickness makes it easy to hold onto. The knife has excellent powder coating and sharpness.
