Hikari Cichlid Gold Floating Pellets Fish Food, Mini Pellets, 2 oz. (57g)

The Hikari Cichlid Gold Floating Pellets Mini have received mixed reviews from customers. While the product is reasonably priced and has been a favorite among many cichlid owners, there have been some concerns regarding the size of the pellets. Some customers have found the pellets to be larger than expected, even though they are labeled as "medium." This discrepancy in size has caused frustration for customers with smaller fish, such as goldfish, who found the pellets to be too big. However, for customers with larger cichlids, the size of the pellets has been suitable. On the positive side, many customers have praised the product for its effectiveness in maintaining the health and vitality of their cichlids. It has been reported to be a great food option for cichlids and has successfully raised many fish. Additionally, some customers have noted that the pellets help to keep their ponds clean, which has been recommended by pond experts. On the other hand, there have been a few negative reviews regarding the potential side effects of using this food. One customer mentioned that their Mbuna African cichlids experienced bloating after Consuming this food, which they believe may be a contributing factor. Another customer mentioned that only around 50% of the pellets sink, contrary to the advertised "sinking" nature of the product. Overall, while the Hikari Cichlid Gold Floating Pellets Mini have received positive feedback in terms of effectiveness and results, the issue with the size of the pellets and potential side effects have raised concerns among some customers.
