Zeagle Buoyancy Compensators 7101CV-L Editorial Review
The customer experiences regarding this buoyancy compensator (BC) demonstrate a mix of satisfaction and significant concern, particularly relating to its weight pocket design. Users laud the BC for its comfort, simplicity, and overall performance, making it suitable for casual diving, especially with lighter tanks and more streamlined wetsuits. However, a critical flaw has been highlighted concerning the weight pockets, which several users found to be poorly designed. Notably, one customer faced a potentially dangerous situation when weights slipped out after entry into the water, attributing the failure directly to the Velcro closure of the weight pockets. While many appreciate the product's comfort and ease of use, the lack of reliable weight retention emerges as a major drawback that raises safety concerns. This has led some to contemplate returning the BC for alternatives, reflecting a significant trust issue in the design pertaining to weight management. In summary, this BC appears to excel in user comfort and convenience for general use, yet the unreliable weight pockets present a serious risk that could deter some divers from recommending the product. **
