Macs Editorial Review
**** The book "macOS Catalina in Easy Steps" provides a straightforward approach for users transitioning to the Mac platform, specifically for those migrating from PC. Many customers have praised its concise and intuitive structure, making it particularly valuable for individuals who are not tech-savvy or who are just beginning their journey with macOS. Reviewers have noted that the book effectively aided them in transferring their files and organizing their new Mac, alleviating initial frustrations associated with the learning curve of a new operating system. However, while the simplicity of the book is appreciated, some users expressed disappointment due to its limited scope, stating that it covers only a handful of topics. This has made it less comprehensive for more advanced users or those looking for deeper insights into macOS Catalina functionalities. There seems to be a general Consensus that while the book is excellent for basic instruction, those seeking more detailed explorations may prefer alternative guides, such as "macOS Catalina: The Missing Manual" by David Pogue. Overall, "macOS Catalina in Easy Steps" serves as a solid introduction for newcomers but might not meet all expectations for seasoned users looking for extensive information. **
