Movies Editorial Review
Snake And Crane Arts Of Shaolin [Blu-ray] showcases the captivating and energetic kung fu exploits of Jackie Chan, directed by Chen Chi Hwa. This edition by 88 Films brings vibrant colors and stunning clarity that enhance the film’s aesthetic appeal, as noted by numerous fans who appreciate the effort put into upgrading a forty-year-old classic. The storyline, while basic, features dynamic martial arts sequences, with Jackie Chan's character, Hsu Ying Fung, on a quest to reveal the hidden Eight Steps Of The Snake And Crane martial arts book. However, some viewers found the video quality inconsistent, with certain scenes not meeting expectations and the audio tracks producing mixed results. Overall, this blu-ray is a nostalgic gem for martial arts enthusiasts.
