ENGINEER Wire Strippers PAW-21 Editorial Review
The ENGINEER INC. Compact stripper PAW-21 is praised by customers for its ability to easily strip low voltage cables and the convenient feature of being able to secure the cable in place while stripping. Customers also note that it is effective in stripping the VCTF cable coating and allows for clean cable processing. However, some customers found the tool difficult to use in tight or narrow spaces, especially near outlet boxes. The use of the tool in low light conditions also posed challenges, as the visibility of step 1 was not clear. Additionally, one customer mentioned that they purchased the tool for stripping TV antenna cables but felt that a regular cutter would have sufficed since they didn't have a large quantity to strip. One concern expressed by customers is the fact that the blade cannot be replaced, suggesting that the tool may be disposable. Users are advised to exercise caution when using the tool to avoid injury from the blade and to develop a habit of locking it after use. Overall, the ENGINEER INC. Compact stripper PAW-21 is a convenient tool for stripping low voltage cables, but may not be as suitable for use in tight spaces. Its durability and sharpness over time are yet to be determined.
